The NSW Bushfire and Natural Hazards Research Centre is now up and running, and builds on the valuable work of the Bushfire Hub. Read the media release here.

The NSW Bushfire and Natural Hazards Research Centre (BNHRC) is a consortium led out of Western Sydney University, in partnership with UNSW, University of Wollongong, The Australian National University, The University of Melbourne and University of Tasmania, designed to deliver applied research.

Funded by the NSW Government, the BNHRC brings together government end-users and researchers to co-design projects that benefit NSW communities and the environment.

The Hub’s website will remain as a legacy for the time being, but is no longer being updated. Important resources will be migrated to the NSW Bushfire and Natural Hazards Research Centre website once it goes live in 2024. Contact BNHRC@westernsydney.edu.au for more information.
